STAR PROGETTI was founded in 1993 and began by producing the famous Fungo®, for heating open areas. The company’s idea has been a real success in Italy, Europe and other parts of the world, anticipating trends and taking a new approach to outdoor spaces.

The success of the Star Progetti Fungo® has created new business for our clients, but has also generated business for outdoor furniture suppliers, as well as new jobs and an increase in tax revenue for the government. In the wake of the success of the Fungo® gas heater, Star Progetti developed two new lines of products: the infrared electric heaters, Helios Electric Infrared Irk, designed for use in different sectors (reception areas, industries, industrial processing, churches, etc).

At present, production of the Helios Electric Infrared IRK, considered the logical successor to the Fungo®, includes a range of different models, sold throughout the world with great success. Star Progetti is considered an international leader in the infra-red sector.

The OASIdehor® line also began as a natural development of the outdoor facilities sector due to the success of the Fungo®. This line includes:

• Modular screening of various types and design, easy to assemble and use.
  
• Large multi-purpose structures to extend and exploit external areas used by hotels, restaurants and events venues. These structures, designed by our architects, are made to measure to suit the client's needs and the Urban Design plan. The Star Progetti structures are delivered "turnkey", complete with heating and air conditioning accessories. In this sector too, Star Progetti is conspicuous in its creativity and innovative solutions.
